CONFESSIONS is an exhibition intended to address the silent crisis in men’s mental health. Specifically, the tension in society around the need to be more inclusive of LGBTQA+ and women’s overall position and wellbeing in contrast to the traditional hierarchical placement of men. The multidisciplinary studio TABLEAU curated 14 male artists, in collaboration with the therapeutic clinic Post Service, for the exhibition to explore the relationship between art, design, and mental health. Both parties aim to highlight the subject of male mental health in relation to the societal presence of toxic masculinity, an inherently female zeitgeist, and the need for a critical examination of the nature of mental health services. TABLEAU and Post Service welcome discussion and exploration of related ideas that are increasingly relevant in contemporary society.

TABLEAU & Post Service will be participating at the Milan design week during Salone del Mobile. Our collaborative exhibition focusing on men’s mental health will take place at Alcova, in the Inganni district.
